Birth Doula Services
During your pregnancy, your birth doula is there to answer questions, share what’s normal, and help you get clear on your birth preferences. When nerves show up, we help you feel more grounded and supported.
In the Bend area, we provide support at St. Charles Medical Center, Bend Birth Center, and in your home.
When it’s time to meet your baby, whether labor or a planned cesarean, your doula joins you at home, the hospital, or a birth center. We focus on creating a calm, supportive space centered on your choices. However you want to give birth, we’re with you.
We’re not medical providers, but we work alongside your care team and help you speak up for what you need. Our support is continuous, which can make a big difference, especially in a busy hospital setting.
And it doesn’t end at birth. Your doula stays with you right after, offering hands-on support as you begin recovery and settle in with your baby.
Postpartum Doula Services
It takes a village.
We keep hearing that, but the village seems extra hard to find.
While doulas tend to be most known for birth support (which we do offer in Bend & the surrounding Central Oregon area), we wish postpartum recovery were talked about more.
Having a baby is a big deal. Bringing that baby home and integrating them into your life is a HUGE deal. And for many of us, the natural supports just aren’t in place to make the transition as smooth and successful as it could be.
This is where we come in as your postpartum doulas. We’re the village you create for yourself.
Because we know that if you’re cared for, you’ll have the strength and capacity to best care for your baby. That’s how it was supposed to be all along.
Whether we come for a few hours a day or multiple nights a week, our goal is to make sure you are rested, nourished, and supported. We often do that by caring for your newborn so you can get that rest and recovery- but you’re always our first priority.
We’re here until this feels manageable again. Until then, let our postpartum doulas be the community you need.
