Breastfeeding is a journey and can be a very challenging road to navigate.

For some mothers breastfeeding is a breeze. They simply put baby to breast and “bam” perfect latch and the rest is history.

But, for most mothers, it is a journey of cracked and bleeding nipples, pain, frustration, hungry babies and pure exhaustion. For those women that have struggled with breastfeeding, it can feel very defeating and overwhelming.

The answer for YOU is personal. Finding in-person support to look at your breasts, your baby’s mouth/latch, etc, is a priority in reaching a feeding relationship that feels successful.

These resources in the Salem, Oregon, area are a great place to start. And it’s 100% ALWAYS okay to reach out for help.
